Joanna Jast is mid-life career shifter helping people who, like her, need to adapt to new environments, jobs, lives, thought fast learning and personal change using evidence-based and well-proven methods.
Trained as a doctor, Joanna has always kept her interests wide. Always in more than one job, studying part time, volunteering, learning and teaching languages, writing and having a life at the same time. With this level of busyness, she had to develop a good system to keep herself on track, on time and on budget.
Her love for productivity, effectiveness and top-notch mental powers combined with her low threshold for boredom resulted in a passion for finding shortcuts and well-proven strategies that simply work.
This book is a result of years of experience as a student, employee, freelancer, entrepreneur and teacher. The strategies and tricks described in this book helped Joanna get through her medical training unscathed (and even with good grades), get a few more qualifications along the way (including an MBA), master two foreign languages, write two non-fiction books and a couple of novels (still unpublished), climb a corporate ladder (and then jump off it) and survive a few entrepreneurial attempts, while still being a (reasonably) sane mother, wife and friend.
She is currently on a mission to help people, tired of padded-out, wishy-washy, heavy on marketing and light on evidence self-help advice accelerate their learning and personal change.
